The BNARI library was established in 2004. The main objective of the library is to develop an effective information service to meet the research and teaching needs of Research scientists and other staff members.

The Library collection is currently about 2,500 which comprises Theses, Journals, Reports and Books.

Electronic Resources such as TEEAL (The Essential Electronic Agricultural Library) have been installed. In addition, AGORA (Access to on-line Research in Agriculture) is accessible to scientists. Other Research4life databases such as HINARI, OARE, ARDI and their passwords necessary to access these databases are available at the BNARI Library. The INIS (International Nuclear Information System) On-line Database is freely available to Scientists.

Services offered include Literature Searches, Compilation of Bibliographies and Indexing.
